The table below describes the different statuses in the life cycle of a transfer made from a virtual account.
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Initiated ( initiated) | This status is returned only for asynchronous transfers. This status is not sent for synchronous transfers. Create Transfer API call was successfully made and the transfer has been added to our queue. The transfer has not yet been sent to the bank for processing. Money has been debited from the debit account, but has not yet been credited to the beneficiary. |
| Pending ( pending) | The transfer request has been sent to the bank for processing. |
| Success ( success) | Money has been credited to the beneficiary. |
| Failed ( failed) | The transfer could not be processed. Money has been reversed to the debit account. |
