Learn how you can add members to your ZWITCH account, assign them roles, manage your team, and switch between workspaces from the ZWITCH Dashboard.

Different people in your organization would need access to the ZWITCH Dashboard. However, depending on your business needs, not all of them would need the same level of access.

ZWITCH allows you to grant different people within your organization access to your ZWITCH workspace and restrict their access by assigning them different roles.

You can do this from the Profile section of the Dashboard.

Standard User Roles

Based on your business needs, you can invite people to your ZWITCH workspace and assign them roles from the Dashboard. Roles allow you to restrict the actions a user can perform on the Dashboard.

For example, members of your support team would only need to view data on the Dashboard. They would not need access to your API keys.

ZWITCH comes bundled with the following standard user roles. Users must be assigned a role when inviting them.

SupportBest for people who need to view Zwitch data but do not need to make any updates.
FinanceBest for people in finance or internal/external auditors of your business to view and manage billing information.
OperationsBest for people who are in your customer success teams and are involved in query/dispute resolution.
DevelopersBest for developers.

Manage Teams

When you create your ZWITCH account you are assigned the Super Admin role and have unrestricted access to the Dashboard. You can invite members to your ZWITCH workspace and manage your team from the ZWITCH Dashboard.

Send Invitation

When you invite a user to your ZWITCH workspace, they are sent an email with an invitation link. Clicking the link redirects the user to the ZWITCH sign-up page. After they complete the signup process, the user can access your ZWITCH workspace.

Follow the below steps to invite a user to your ZWITCH workspace.

  1. Log in to the ZWITCH Dashboard.
  2. Click the Profile icon at the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Click View Team.
  4. Click + New Member on the Team screen.
  5. Enter the email address and select a role for the user you want to invite on the Invite new users screen.
  6. Click Send Invite.

An invitation email is sent to the user. The email has an invitation link that is valid for 24 hours. Users can accept the invite and join your workspace.

Resend Invitation

In case a user does not receive your invitation, you can send it them once again using the resend option on the ZWITCH Dashboard.

Follow the below steps to resend an invite to a user.

  1. Log in to the ZWITCH Dashboard.
  2. Click the Profile icon at the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on View Team.
  4. Click Invited Users on the Team screen.
  5. Click the Resend Invite icon.

The email is resent to the user.

Change User Role

A user's role can be changed after they have accepted the invitation and completed the sign-up process.

Follow the below steps to change a user’s role.

  1. Log in to the ZWITCH Dashboard.
  2. Click the Profile icon at the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Click View Team.
  4. Click the Edit User icon.
  5. Select the new role for the user on the Edit User pop-up.
  6. Click Save.

The user is assigned the new role.

Remove User

You can remove a user from your ZWITCH account as per your business needs. For example, when a person leaves your organization, you would want them to have access to your ZWITCH account. Such users can be removed from your ZWITCH workspace.

Follow the below steps to remove a user from your ZWITCH workspace.

  1. Log in to the ZWITCH Dashboard.
  2. Click the Profile icon at the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Click View Team.
  4. Click the Remove User icon.
  5. Click Delete on the Confirm pop-up.

The user is removed from your Workspace.

Cancel Invitation

You can cancel an invitation sent to a user. This is useful in cases where you sent the invitation to the wrong person or if the invitation is no longer needed.

Follow the below steps to cancel the invitation sent to a user.

  1. Log in to the ZWITCH Dashboard.
  2. Click the Profile icon at the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on View Team.
  4. Click Invited Users on the Team screen.
  5. Click the Cancel Invite icon.
  6. Click Revoke on the Confirm pop-up.

The invitation is canceled. The user can no longer use the invitation link to join your workspace.

Switch Workspace

If you have been granted access to multiple ZWITCH Dashboards you can also switch between the different workspaces from the Dashboard.

Follow the below steps to switch workspaces:

  1. Log in to the ZWITCH Dashboard.
  2. Click the Profile icon at the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Select the workspace you want to access from the All Workspaces section.
