ZWITCH Accounts
Learn about the different accounts created for you when you sign up with ZWITCH and the purpose of these accounts.
When you sign up with ZWITCH, we automatically create the following virtual accounts for you:
- Primary Account
- Verification Account
Both these accounts have their own account number and IFSC that you can use to transfer funds to them.
Primary Account
The Primary Account is your main ZWITCH account. You can view the details of this account on the Launchpad section of your Dashboard. Alternatively, you can use our APIs to get details of this account.
You can transfer money to this account using its account number and IFSC. You can use our APIs to transfer money out of your primary account.
Money transferred to a Virtual Account Collection Tool is settled to your Primary Account.
Verification Account
When you sign up with ZWITCH, we create a ZWITCH Verification Account along with the Primary Account. You can view these details on the Launchpad section of your Dashboard. Alternatively, you can use our APIs to get details of this account.
Similar to the Primary Account, this account comes with an account number and IFSC. Use these details to transfer money to this account. Alternatively, you can transfer money to the Verifications Account from the Primary Account using our Wallet-to-wallet Transfer API.
Balance in the Verification Account is only used when verifying details of an account using our Account Verification (Penny Drop) API.
You cannot add beneficiaries to the Verification Account or make transfers from the Verification Account.
