Split Settlement
Split Settlement allows a single transaction’s payout to be automatically distributed among multiple sub-accounts based on predefined rules.
Overview
Split Settlement enables automated distribution of a single customer payment into multiple payouts—sent directly to your partners, vendors, or stakeholders. This removes the need for manual reconciliation and ensures accurate, real-time settlement for every transaction.
Key Features
- Automatic multi-party settlement from a single customer charge
- Configurable split rules based on percentages, fixed amounts, or dynamic logic
- Instant or scheduled payouts to each stakeholder
- Transparent reporting for all parties
- Reduces manual reconciliation and errors
Use Cases
1. Marketplaces with Multiple Sellers
Automatically split an order payment across multiple sellers and your platform commission—no manual calculations required.
2. Service Platforms (Salons, Home Services, Freelancers)
Collect the full payment while Zwitch instantly routes the service provider’s share to them, and your platform retains its fee.
5. Travel & Hospitality Platforms
For bookings involving hotels, agents, and your platform, Split Settlement seamlessly distributes each partner’s share from a single transaction.
Note
- Split settlements aren’t supported for merchants using instant settlements or the surcharge model.
- The settlement cycle will follow a T+1 timeline.
- Sub-account activation is currently a manual process, and a payment token can be generated only after the sub-account has been activated.
