When onboarding a customer, it is important to verify that the documents being submitted belong to the person you are onboarding.

Our photo verification service lets you check an individual's photo against their photo updated in Aadhaar. This enables you to confirm that the documents submitted are legitimate and belong to the individual you are onboarding, reducing the risk of identity fraud.

Currently, you can verify an individual's photo against the following databases:

• CKYC database
• Aadhaar database

Verify Photo Against Aadhaar Database

You can compare an individual's photo against their photo in the Aadhaar database in 3 steps.

Follow the below steps to verify an individual's photo against their photo updated in Aadhaar.

1. Verify Aadhaar: First, you need to verify the individual's Aadhaar using our Aadhaar Verification via OTP APIs.

2. Upload Photo: Next, use our Upload Document API to upload the individual's photo to our server.

3. Verify Photo: Finally, you can compare the uploaded photo against the photo in the Aadhaar database using our Photo Verification API.

Verify Photo Against CKYC Database

You can verify an individual's photo against their photo in the CKYC database in 3 steps.

Follow the below steps to compare an individual's photo against their photo updated in CKYC database.

1. Check CKCY Registration : First, you need to check if the individual is registered in the CKYC database using our Check CKYC Registration API.

2. Upload Photo: Next, use our Upload Document API to upload the individual's photo to our server.

3. Verify Photo: Finally, you can compare the photo uploaded against the photo in the CKYC database using our Photo Verification API.
